Returns & Refunds Policy – Otaku3D

This Refund, Return & Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made from Otaku3D. By placing an order, the customer (“User”) expressly acknowledges, understands, and agrees to be bound by this Policy in its entirety, without limitation or qualification.

1. General Refund & Return Policy

All products offered by Otaku3D are manufactured exclusively against confirmed customer orders. Due to the customised, personalised, and made-to-order nature of 3D printed products, such goods lose all resale value once manufacturing has commenced or the product has been completed.

Accordingly, all orders that have entered manufacturing or have been dispatched are strictly non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.

2. Order Acceptance & Cancellation by the Company

Otaku3D reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to accept, reject, or cancel any order without assigning any reason.

Orders may be cancelled due to, including but not limited to:

  • Errors in pricing, specifications, or product information

  • Technical, design, or manufacturing limitations

  • Quantity restrictions

  • Payment verification failures or credit-related issues

  • Force majeure events or unforeseen operational constraints

Where cancellation is initiated by Otaku3D, the User shall be notified electronically. Any refund or store credit, if applicable, shall be processed strictly in accordance with this Policy.

3. Customer-Initiated Cancellation

If manufacturing has commenced or dispatch has occurred:

  • No cancellation, refund, replacement, or chargeback shall be permitted under any circumstances.

If manufacturing has not commenced:

  • Otaku3D may, at its sole discretion, issue a store credit equal to the order value.

  • Store credits are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and usable only for future purchases.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

The User must inspect the shipment immediately upon delivery.
Any claim must be reported within 3 calendar days of delivery with clear photographic evidence and order details.

Resolution Process

Manufacturing or functional defects:

  • Product must be returned within 3 days of approval

  • Replacement may be issued after inspection at Otaku3D’s discretion

Transit-related damage:

  • Product must be returned for repair evaluation

  • Shipping costs shared:

    • One-way paid by User

    • One-way paid by Otaku3D

Returns will be rejected if the product:

  • Has been used, altered, or tampered with

  • Is damaged due to misuse

  • Is returned without original packaging

5. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

  • Customised or made-to-order 3D printed products

  • Discounted or promotional items

  • Gift cards or vouchers

6. Exchanges

No exchanges are offered for customised or made-to-order products under any circumstances.

7. Refunds & Processing Timeline

Refunds are not applicable to customised, manufactured, or dispatched orders.

If a refund is approved due to cancellation by Otaku3D:

  • Processed within 5–7 business days

  • Bank processing may take an additional 5–10 business days

Refunds may be issued to the original payment method or as store credit at Otaku3D’s discretion.

8. Shipping Policy

8.1 Order Processing & Manufacturing Time

All products are made-to-order. Manufacturing begins only after payment confirmation and receipt of complete customisation details. Production time varies based on complexity, size, material, finishing, and order volume.

8.2 Shipping Locations

  • Ships across India

  • International shipping available on request (extra charges apply)

8.3 Shipping Charges

Calculated at checkout or communicated separately.
Any additional cost due to incorrect address will be borne by the User.

8.4 Dispatch Timeline

Orders are dispatched after manufacturing and quality checks. Tracking details will be shared after dispatch.

8.5 Delivery Timelines

Delivery depends on courier partners. Otaku3D is not liable for delays caused by logistics, weather, or force majeure.

8.6 Incorrect Address

  • Re-shipping charges apply

  • All additional costs borne by User

8.7 Damaged Shipments

Report within 3 days with proof. Claims handled as per this Policy.

8.8 Lost Shipments

Resolution depends on courier investigation timelines.

8.9 Packaging

Products are securely packed. Minor cosmetic damage during transit is not eligible for replacement or refund.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information. Incorrect details leading to failed delivery will incur re-shipping charges. Otaku3D reserves the right to cancel orders with false or unverifiable information.
